Mays, Maune, McWard Presentation – Education in Daylighting This presentation addresses not only the benefits, but the science behind the use and application of natural daylight in educational facilities. We look at different benefits backed by studies and its effects on student’s performance, health and well-being. We will look at different strategies to deliver daylighting to classrooms. We will discuss the science of using natural daylighting in educational facilities as well as how daylighting strategies meet current design standards and green initiatives. We will also look at case studies to show how others used latest technology to deliver daylight to existing and new facilities. Length: 1 hour Credits 1 Learning Unit
