Mays, Maune, McWard, Inc and Parklex present Interior Engineered Woods – The Next Generation (High Pressure Laminates). In this presentation we will discuss the use of high pressure laminates for interior applications – walls, ceilings, flooring, casework. The Learning objectives: • Recognize and understand the changing demands in the construction industry concerning the use of real wood finishes. • Develop a better understanding of wood performance, limitations, and risk assessment for success in specifying the best product and systems • Review technical advancements in engineered wood finishes to provide enhance performance for specific applications. • Understand and evaluate the use of engineered woods in various interior finish applications and selection of attachment and sub-framing systems to achieve the desired intent.
