McKeon Door Company – Opening Doors to Design Opportunities: Presented by McKeon and Mays, Maune, McWard, Inc. This 1-hour seminar is structured to acquaint the design team with the basic building code requirements that drive the use of fire and smoke rated wide span opening protectives. This seminar covers: 1. Participants will be able to differentiate between fire walls and fire barriers 2. Learners will understand the regulatory standards governing the use and applications of wide span opening protectives. 3. By examining numerous case studies, participants will learn the fundamental code requirements that drive the placement of fire walls and fire barriers, their openings and opening protectives. 4.
